Knowing the material and feeling ready to use it under pressure aren't always the same. If worry takes over the lead-up to an exam, or one hard question throws off your concentration, we can explore a steadier way to approach it.

Goals we can discuss

Possible goals include starting a study session, settling into the first few minutes of a test, moving past a question you can't answer yet, or refocusing after you notice nerves. We keep each goal tied to actions you can practice and review.

How sessions can fit your goals

Bring an example of the exam or assessment and what happens before, during, and after it. Hypnosis may include mental rehearsal of a preparation routine, constructive self-talk, and a way back to the next useful step. This sits alongside studying, practice questions, rest, and any educational support you already use.

Questions before you book

Can hypnosis improve my score?

A score or outcome can't be guaranteed. Hypnosis doesn't supply the knowledge being tested or replace studying. Our focus is your preparation routine and how you respond to pressure.

What if I need accommodations?

Discuss accommodations with your school, the testing organization, or the relevant professional. These sessions don't assess eligibility or replace documented support.

Is this only for school exams?

No. You can ask about a professional certification, a licensing exam, or another testing situation. Tell me the context during the consultation so we can discuss whether it's a good fit.

Plan your visit

Hypnosis appointments are in person at 4000 Portage Street, Suite 106, Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Allow at least two hours. Your free 30-minute consultation can be by phone or in person. We'll use the consultation to understand your goals so I can prepare a proposed plan and quote. A phone consultation lets us talk about the exam and your goals before you plan a visit.
