Hypnosis for Focus and Concentration

You sit down to read, study, or finish a task, and your attention wanders off. Often the useful goal isn't perfect concentration. It's noticing the drift sooner and having a practical way back to what you chose to do.
Goals we can discuss
Sessions can focus on starting a planned work period, moving from one task to the next, quieting unhelpful self-talk after a distraction, or building a consistent start routine. We pick an ordinary situation you can observe, rather than promising a general boost in memory or intelligence.
How sessions can fit your goals
Bring an example of the task, the distractions around it, and what happens when you try to come back. We can use guided attention and mental rehearsal to practice a sequence you choose, like gathering your materials, setting one target, and returning after an interruption. What you notice between appointments guides the next step.
Questions before you book
Is this an ADHD assessment or treatment?
No. This service doesn't diagnose ADHD or replace medication, accommodations, or other care. If attention difficulties are persistent or disruptive, talk with a qualified professional.
Can we work on studying?
Yes, as a practical routine and attention goal. Hypnosis doesn't supply subject knowledge or replace learning and review. If exam nerves are the main issue, the test-confidence page may be a better fit.
How can I prepare?
Pick one task and note when your attention drifts, what you do next, and what a useful return would look like. Bring any questions about comfort, the process, or how we'll review progress.
Plan your visit
Hypnosis appointments are in person at 4000 Portage Street, Suite 106, Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Allow at least two hours. Your free 30-minute consultation can be by phone or in person. We'll use the consultation to understand your goals so I can prepare a proposed plan and quote. A phone consultation is an easy way to talk through a focus goal first.
