Bright Tomorrows Hypnosis — Consult Booking Terms & Conditions

By submitting your booking, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Your checkbox acknowledgment is your electronic agreement and is intended to document that you were informed before your consultation.

1) Consultations are free

Consultations are always free. No fee is charged for the consult itself.

2) Scheduling platform (Acuity Scheduling / Squarespace)

Bright Tomorrows Hypnosis uses Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace product) to manage appointment booking, reminders, intake information, and related administrative functions. Information you enter into the scheduler and any forms hosted through it is processed through Acuity/Squarespace systems and is subject to Squarespace/Acuity policies and practices.

3) Payments and saved payment methods (when applicable)

If you later schedule paid services, payments may be processed through Acuity’s connected payment options (for example, Stripe, Square, or PayPal), depending on the practice’s configuration. You understand that Acuity may offer the ability to save card details (typically via the payment processor) to facilitate future payments and/or charging fees consistent with the practice’s published policies.

4) Recording consent (required for consults)

Consults that are in person are recorded (audio). By booking a consult, you consent to audio recording of the consult for documentation support, quality assurance, and continuity of care.

If you later schedule hypnosis sessions, sessions may be recorded in audio, and video recording may be used by request. You may revoke consent for future recordings at any time; revocation does not affect recordings already made. Recordings (if made) will be treated as confidential practice records and stored with reasonable safeguards.

5) Nature and scope of services (consults are informational)

A consult is intended to discuss your goals, explain hypnosis/hypnotherapy, and determine whether services are a good fit. Hypnosis/hypnotherapy is a collaborative process and results vary by individual; no guarantees are made.

Hypnosis/hypnotherapy services are not a substitute for medical care, emergency care, psychiatric care, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have urgent medical or mental health needs, contact appropriate emergency resources.

6) Voluntary participation and boundaries

You are in control of your participation. You may ask questions at any time, request changes, set boundaries, and you may end the consult at any time.

7) Consensual physical contact (sessions only; not required)

If you later schedule a hypnosis session, you understand that some techniques may involve consensual, non-sexual physical contact (for example, light touch for grounding or guidance). Physical contact is never required for hypnosis to be effective, and you may request no-touch at any time.

8) 24-hour cancellation / reschedule policy (paid services)

If you later schedule a paid session:

Cancellations or reschedules require at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start time.

Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to fees consistent with the practice’s stated policies.

Rescheduled sessions are not eligible for refund. (If you reschedule, any amounts paid apply to the new appointment time rather than being refunded.)

9) Confidentiality and limits

The practice will use reasonable efforts to keep your information private and confidential. Confidentiality may be limited by law or ethical obligations (for example, safety-related concerns, abuse/neglect reporting where applicable, or legal process).
