Hypnosis for Confidence and Self-Esteem

Confidence often comes down to a particular moment: offering an idea, setting a boundary, trying something new, or recovering after a mistake. If self-doubt keeps making the decision for you, we can start with one situation you'd like to handle differently.

Goals we can discuss

We can explore harsh self-talk, the expectation of getting everything right, passing up opportunities, or trouble recognizing your own progress. The goal isn't to become a different person. It's to build responses that give you more room to act on your own values and priorities.

How sessions can fit your goals

We'll talk about what happens now, what you tell yourself about it, and what a more useful response would look like. Hypnosis gives us a focused setting for imagery and rehearsal. Between appointments, you can watch for small real-life examples: stating a preference, recovering from an awkward moment, or taking a step you'd been putting off.

Questions before you book

Will I have to repeat statements I don't believe?

We'll find language that feels believable and relevant to you. You can question a suggestion, decline an exercise, or ask to change the approach.

Can we focus on boundaries or social confidence?

Yes, those can be goals we discuss. Bring a specific example, such as asking for clarification, saying no to an optional request, or joining a conversation.

Does this replace counseling?

No. Long-standing distress, depression, trauma symptoms, or concerns about safety in a relationship may need licensed professional support. Hypnosis here is complementary to that care.

Plan your visit

Hypnosis appointments are in person at 4000 Portage Street, Suite 106, Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Allow at least two hours. Your free 30-minute consultation can be by phone or in person. We'll use the consultation to understand your goals so I can prepare a proposed plan and quote. You can talk with me by phone first and then decide whether an in-person appointment fits the change you want to make.
